This thing is WAY to expensive, just go down to the dollar store and pick up a few of them 2 lbers or even make something that wiull work instead of paying that price. good product though is why i give it three stars, but for this thing 400 bucks Come on!!!! -- Good Product for the price of a Car
I was concerned about the price and reliability of these weights, but after having used them for six months, I'm glad I bought them. Here's why:

1. They save a lot of space, weight, and money compared to the 15 pairs of dumbbells they replace.

2. They allow quick weight changes for fast, intense workouts.

3. Reliability is fine, although I initially had trouble with the dumbbells and individual weight disks occasionally getting stuck in their racks--especially when I was trying to hurry. My recommendation? Don't throw the weights into their racks or jerk them around, as I did. Make sure you select the weight precisely (the arrow points exactly to the number of pounds desired, and the dial clicks when the weight is selected).

If you don't precisely select a weight, individual weight disks (or the whole dumbbell) may get stuck in the rack. If a dumbbell gets stuck, make sure a weight is precisely selected on the dials and try again. If weight disks get stuck, take all the loose weights off the base and return the handle with the uneven weights back to the base. Select the lowest weight (5 pounds) on the dials and remove the handle from the base. Organize all the weight disks on the base from largest to smallest, inside to outside. Return the handle to the base, select your desired weight, and resume your workout.

In spite of how complicated this may sound, it's not. The whole procedure takes a minute or two at most, and I have only had to do it once--and not at all since I figured out how to avoid it.

Overall, the weights are a huge convenience and well worth the money. If you need to save space, if you need a variety of weights, or if you need to change weights quickly in your workouts, this set is for you. -- Worth It
These are the best dumbbells you can buy. Easy to change weights and don't take up any space whatsoever. I keep them in a corner of a room. Best part of the dumbbells is the flexibility to change weights immediately, without the need to change weights and waste time. Must have for home gym..

Having 55lbs. on each side is more than enough for most folks. They also come in 100lbs. variety.. -- Best ever
