I enjoyed this book and think it has a lot of useful info. I do tend to cross reference herbal books with other herbal books. I also check online for some sources as herbs can go out of favor particularly as new prescriptions meds come out and there are interactions. Natural doesn't always mean safe or good, particularly in combination with other vitamins, supplements or prescriptions. Important to do your homework. -- Pretty Comprehensive for One Book

I had this book and my sister in law always grabbed it to read after she went to bed. I didn't want to give mine up so I ordered one for her. Hers is already dog earred from the many readings. It is full of information and interesting remedies such as peppermint oil can help keep gallstone blockage from occuring and may dissolve gallstones by taking an enteric coating-coated capsule two times per day between meals (0.2 - 0.4 milliliter). An enteric coating is one that passes through the stomach's digestive fluids intact to deliver its healing properties lower in the digestive tract. One of many studies. I have not tried any of them yet, but I think it's a great book to have on hand for non life threatening conditions in a world of too many man made drugs being taken and prescribed, in my opinion.
