If you didn't get from her first book,The Schwarzbein Principle: The Truth About Losing Weight, Being Healthy, and Feeling Youngerthat her program is likely to be the prescription for "healthy living and feeling better", then this follow up will probably convince you. The "Program" is a much heavier read, but provides necessary information about how our bodies work and why her program is suited for the goals most of us have in mind.
Having done quite a bit of research (from a layman's point of view) and a consumer of her program for several years, I can personally testify that Dr. Schwarzbein's Program does work. Her diets and recipes are easy, though not so much if one is addicted to fast food and instant gratification. Food choices become second nature as does lifestyle in general. After a relatively short time on the Program, one will definitely feel better. look better, and be more productive.
If you have any questions, feel skeptical about the Program's efficacy, or just slipped away from having been on it for a time, this book will fill all your needs. -- Further proof of a very good point.
This book is filled with good information that can benefit anyone who reads the book and applies her principles to their life. -- Excellent.
This book arrived as ordered, in great condition. I haven't used any of the recipes yet, but I have looked through the book and I believe the recipes will be very helpful in preparing "square meals." -- Great book, great condition
Dr. Schwarzbein teaches us the truth about fat, protein and carbs. It makes perfect sense. No wonder so many people are sick and fat today. Low fat, no fat diets do not work! A diet with healthy fats, protein and vegetables and some grain for those that can handle it is the ticket to a healthier you. -- Everyone should get this book!
